About this event
"Sports Festival Ishinomaki", a hands-on event combining sports, disaster prevention, and entertainment, will be held in Ishinomaki City. It was planned to create opportunities for local residents to enjoy learning and interacting through sports and disaster prevention, as well as to encourage health promotion. Because Ishinomaki is a city that experienced the earthquake disaster, the event values the ideas of "enjoyably preparing", "enjoyably exercising", and "learning together as parent and child", offering content that a wide range of generations from children to seniors can participate in. Some programs, such as baseball classes and soccer classes, have fixed capacities and require advance reservations. The baseball classes and soccer classes can be joined for 1,000 yen (reservation required, insurance included). Admission is free.
