"Master Artisans All-Inclusive Festival '26," bringing together "Takumi" master artisans, will be held in Kawasaki Town, Miyagi Prefecture. Crafts, handmade goods, and locally produced agricultural products by master artisans certified by the Mayor of Kawasaki Town will be exhibited and sold. Visitors can experience the local charm through Kawasaki Town's rich natural environment, cultural heritage, and promotions of local cuisine made with safe and reliable local ingredients. Sales of local goods, as well as demonstrations, hands-on experiences, and workshops by master artisans are scheduled, allowing visitors to feel the warmth of handmade craftwork. A full lineup of programs enjoyable for both children and adults, such as mochi throwing (mochimaki) and traditional performing arts presentations, makes it an ideal family outing. It is an event where you can spend time wrapped in local warmth while watching, touching, and conversing with the skills of master craftspeople.
