About this event
In Osato Town, Miyagi Prefecture, the long-loved 'Summer Festival' and 'Autumn Festival' are being merged and reborn anew as the 'Osato Hasekura Festival.' Themed around Hasekura Tsunenaga, the local hero of whom the town is proud, the festival aims to pass down the history and pride of Osato to the next generation, creating a festival where everyone from children to the elderly can be the main characters and enjoy with smiles. It is expected to become a new step toward 'collaborative town development' created by town residents, various organizations, and the government joining hands.
