About this event

An exchange gathering for those who have moved to Kami Town but have no acquaintances around and seek opportunities to interact, as well as for those considering moving and wanting to learn more about the charms of Kami Town. This 16th session is planned around thoroughly enjoying in-season apples. Through activities like "apple picking," "apple pizza making," and "games," participants can enjoyably interact with each other. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with reception opening at 9:30 AM. Apple pizza making starts at 10:05 AM, and while waiting for the baking, apple picking and socializing will take place, followed by pizza tasting and games from 11:00 AM to further deepen interactions. The participation fee is 1,200 yen per person; preschool children are free of charge but do not receive pizza. Participants need to wear clothes that can get dirty and bring an apron, a triangular kerchief / bandana, a hat, and drinks. Up to 2 apples per person can be taken home, with extra charges for additional apples. Preschoolers to elementary school students must be accompanied by a guardian. In the event of an increased risk of disaster due to severe weather, the event may be cancelled. Applications must be submitted by Monday, September 7 via the designated Google Form or by phone to the Kami Town People & Work Promotion Division (0229-63-5611).
