About this event
"Studio Zatsugami Land 2026," held at the Akita University of Art Satellite Center, is a limited-time workshop where anyone can freely enjoy crafting using "zatsugami" (miscellaneous scrap paper) such as flyers and wrapping paper. Everyone from children to adults can participate and create works with free imagination. Various materials and tools such as candy boxes, cardboard, and newspaper are prepared at the venue, allowing visitors to drop in empty-handed with ease. Created works can be taken home. In addition, a workshop by the university's teaching assistant titled "Pretend Shop: Transform with Stickers" will also be held and can be enjoyed for a participation fee of 300 yen. This event aims to let participants feel the joy of making things, boost self-esteem, and nurture imagination and creativity.
