About this event
'Organic Festa in Akita 2026', held at Akita City Cultural Creation Center on Sunday, August 23, 2026, will feature exhibitions and sales of fresh vegetables and processed goods grown through organic farming and natural cultivation. In the live kitchen, cooking demonstrations by Pecoly Yoshida can be enjoyed, and limited organic miso tampo as well as watermelon splitting with tastings will be offered on the day. The venue is divided into the 1st floor community space, the 2nd floor Studio A, and an outdoor area; the 2nd floor will feature sales of herbal tea, soybean tea, coffee, etc., and vegetable photo spots. With a children's play area produced by the child-rearing support room 'Misono Mokumoku', a balloon art fun corner, and original variety goods shops by Yuwa artists such as 'made in yuwa' and 'Osampo Kobito', the event can be enjoyed by adults and children alike. Admission is free, and no advance registration is required.
