Fukushima Railway Expo 2026

About this event

Held in Kitakata City, Fukushima Prefecture, "Fukushima Railway Expo 2026" is an event designed to promote the appeal of the JR Ban'etsu West Line both within and outside the prefecture. At the venue, the "Fukushima Local Railway Utilization Summit"—a regional revitalization idea contest by high school students and others—will be held, along with scheduled stage events featuring railway-related celebrities. Additionally, diorama displays of the Ban'etsu West Line, railway merchandise sales, as well as food and beverage vendors will be available. A specially planned train is also scheduled to run in early March of next year as a special project. *Details are currently being finalized and may be subject to change in the future.
