'One-Day Mounted Samurai Warrior' Experience Autumn 2026

In the 'One-Day Mounted Samurai Warrior' experience, 6 participants can fully transform into Sengoku warlords. By putting on the undergarments, straw sandals (waraji), shin guards (suneate), thigh guards (haidate), vest armor (dogi), gauntlets (kote), and shoulder guards (sode) in order, donning the sword, and wearing the helmet (kabuto), a brave warlord figure is complete. The armor is said to be quite heavy, making for a truly realistic and immersive experience. Weather permitting, you can stride through the Nakamura Castle Ruins and let your imagination travel back to the Sengoku period while admiring the autumn foliage that cannot be seen during the Soma Nomaoi season. Applications are open to participants from all over Japan.
