Experience Jurassic World Minamisoma!

About this event

Inspired by the abundant yielding of dinosaur-era fossils from the Mesozoic Jurassic period in Minamisoma City, an exhibition of dinosaur footprint fossils and hands-on workshops where visitors can touch fossils will be held. In the fossil frottage experience, participants can place paper over fossils and rub them with pencils or similar tools to transfer the uneven textures and patterns onto paper. There is also a project where Jurassic fossils produced in Minamisoma City will be given away via lottery. There is even a chance that a dinosaur might come to visit the venue, making it an event that children and adults alike can enjoy. Children in 3rd grade of elementary school and below must be accompanied by a guardian. Admission is free.
