2026 6th Regular Town Council Meeting

At the Koori Town Council, the 6th Regular Meeting of 2026 will open on Wednesday, August 26, and will be held for a 15-day session until Wednesday, September 9. This regular meeting will cover the appointment of council members to sign the minutes, determination of the session period, miscellaneous reports, administrative reports, explanation of reasons for the Mayor's proposals, explanations for 3 supplementary budget items, comprehensive explanation of general account financial settlement certification, comprehensive explanation of special account, water supply project account, and sewer project account financial settlement certifications, reports on fiscal soundness ratios and fund shortage ratios, and settlement audit result reports. In addition, general questions are scheduled, where various issues concerning town administration will be deliberated. Matters for discussion include approval of discretionary dispositions, certification of fiscal year 2025 financial settlements for each account, disposition of unappropriated retained earnings for water supply project and sewerage project accounts, partial revisions of ordinances, acquisition of property, and fiscal year 2026 supplementary budgets. The Town Council welcomes public observation from the gallery, and the council sessions will also be livestreamed on the internet.
