About this event

This is the largest Japanese drum (wadaiko) festival in the history of Chikusei City, featuring performances by 18 wadaiko and local traditional performing arts groups gathered from within and outside the prefecture. It will be an event where you can feel the powerful performances, the passionate energy of Japanese drums, and the resonance of local traditions firsthand. At the venue's lawn plaza of the roadside station, the "National Gyoza Festival" will be held concurrently as an unmissable and attractive event. Admission is free, so please enjoy the resonant sounds of wadaiko and delicious gourmet food with your family and friends.
