8th Minna no Natsu Matsuri

Held at Shimoinayoshi Junior High School in Kasumigaura City, Ibaraki Prefecture, the "8th Minna no Natsu Matsuri" is a summer event featuring local stage performances, Bon Odori dancing, and street stalls. Scheduled performances include the Shimoinayoshi Junior High School Brass Band, a show by the local hero "Gawler C," Kasumigaura Saxophone Club, AiLES, Hinako Sakurai, and Akemi Okawa. Bon Odori, taiko drumming, and Yosakoi Soran performances are also planned, with Niagara fireworks scheduled for the grand finale. Visitors can enjoy festival food and drinks like yakisoba, takoyaki, and shaved ice, as well as carnival games such as target shooting, katanuki candy carving, and medaka fish scooping. Japanese round fans with raffle tickets will be distributed along with a prize drawing, allowing attendees to fully enjoy the summer festival atmosphere into the night.
