2026 Miya no Ichi Commercial Festival

A commercial festival that has continued since 1996 with the aim of revitalizing commerce in Utsunomiya City. During the period, appreciation sales are held at various stores across shopping streets in the city. A prize giveaway where customers who spend over a certain amount can win hotel stay vouchers and other prizes is also offered. In particular, on the first Saturday and Sunday of November, a street festival featuring food stalls and PR booths by local businesses and organizations is held on Bamba-dori in the city center, enlivening the entire city. This commercial festival coincides with other downtown events such as the Utsunomiya Gyoza Festival and Miya Jazz Inn, providing an opportunity to enjoy strolling around the city even more. A highlight is that due to the long duration, you can encounter various shop specials depending on the day you visit. Towards the end of the festival period on November 7 and 8, events such as the Utsunomiya Gyoza Festival (Utsunomiya Castle Ruins Park), Miya Jazz Inn, Orion Jazz, and 028market overlap, dramatically increasing the density and excitement of your city walk by visiting alongside these events.
