About this event
Held in Sakura City, Tochigi Prefecture, "Ujiie Noryosai 2026" is an autumn evening feast staged in front of JR Ujiie Station, played by lanterns and wind chimes. The illuminated lanterns creatively crafted by various groups produce a magical and nostalgic landscape. Starting in the afternoon on the day of the event, the "Yuyake Bazaar" featuring festival-style tent shops and the "Sakura Dream Festa" offering dance and musical performances will also be held. From early evening into the night, the main event "Creative Lantern Contest" will take place, adorning Sakura Square with colorful and enchanting lights. Lantern lighting will occur from 18:15 to 20:00, and the entire event can be enjoyed from 13:30 to 20:00.
