Nasukara Walk 2026

Set in the Minaminasu area of Nasukarasuyama City, Tochigi Prefecture, the walking event 'Nasukara Walk 2026' is an ideal opportunity for health building and creating memories with family and friends. Held on Sunday, October 4, 2026 (Reiwa 8), it will proceed in light rain. Reception is from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM, and the opening ceremony will take place from 9:00 AM at the Nasukarasuyama City Budo Hall (Budo-kan), followed by sequential starts. The venue, start, and finish point is the Nasukarasuyama City Budo Hall (240 Ogane, Nasukarasuyama City). The event offers two courses: a 10-kilometer course and a 6-kilometer course. They share the same route up to a certain point, and you can choose either course on the day. The participation fee is 500 yen (free for elementary school students and younger, as well as accompanying caregivers for those requiring assistance), payable at the reception booth on the day of the event. All participants will receive a participation prize upon completing the walk or when heading home. Applications are open until Friday, September 11, with a capacity of 300 participants (on a first-come, first-served basis). Course maps and other information will be sent out one week prior to the event. To prevent heat stroke, please manage your physical condition individually and prepare necessary measures. Staff members are stationed along the route during the walk, and participants are encouraged not to push themselves too hard and to notify staff in the event of poor health or injury.
