N-Kyo Danyu Orchestra and Ayumi Shigemori Present: Exquisite Family Concert – The World of Ghibli & Disney Played on the Masterpiece Stradivarius

This is a special family concert featuring a joint performance by the N-Kyo Danyu Orchestra, composed of elite former members of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, and Ayumi Shigemori, well known as the 17th singing older sister on NHK's 'Okaasan to Issho'. Famous songs from Studio Ghibli and Walt Disney works will be performed with the live sound of the masterpiece Stradivarius violin, said to be worth several billion yen. With gentle narration and singing by Ayumi Shigemori, who serves as the navigator, even children experiencing classical music for the first time can enjoy the concert with peace of mind. There is also a segment where the audience can participate by clapping along, making it a stage that brings smiles to parents and children. Pieces performed will include medleys from 'Kiki's Delivery Service', 'Spirited Away', and 'My Neighbor Totoro' from Ghibli, as well as a 'The Little Mermaid' medley, 'Let It Go' from 'Frozen', and a 'The Lion King' medley from Disney.
