Gunma Prefecture Future Vision Forum 2026

About this event

This is a forum where Governor of Gunma Prefecture Ichita Yamamoto and Mayor of Midori City Akio Sudo talk together about the future of Gunma Prefecture and Midori City. A proposal for the future vision by the Governor and a speech towards the future by the Mayor will be delivered. An opinion exchange with participants is also planned, making it a valuable opportunity to think together about the future of Gunma Prefecture and Midori City. As part of holding forums across all 35 municipalities, in Midori City it will be held at Kasakake Community Center. Through future proposals accompanying the update of the New Gunma Prefecture Comprehensive Plan by the Governor, outlooks towards the local future by municipal leaders, and exchanges of opinions with prefecture residents, participants can deepen their understanding of the future.
