The '35th Ki ni Naru Festival' held in Asahikawa City, Hokkaido, is an event aimed at deepening interest in forests and timber. At the venue, through woodworking experiences and exhibitions of research results, visitors can enjoyably learn about the utilization of forest resources and the blessings of the forest. As a hands-on nature experience event where families can participate, it also contributes to the promotion of wood education (mokuiku). This festival is hosted by the Hokkaido Research Organization Forest Products Research Institute and held while deepening cooperation with the local community.
