The 9th Shiitake Mushroom Festival

About this event

The 9th Shiitake Mushroom Festival will be held in Ueno Village, Gunma Prefecture. The venue is Mahoba Forest, where you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat feast of freshly picked shiitake mushrooms from Ueno Village for 90 minutes. The fee is 1,000 yen for adults (junior high school students and older), 500 yen for elementary school students, and free for preschoolers. In addition to the main all-you-can-eat shiitake mushroom event, sales corners will also be set up for shiitake rice, shiitake soup, shiitake frankfurters, and more. Souvenir shiitake mushrooms will also be sold at special discount prices (separate charge from all-you-can-eat).
