About this event
This is a candle night event organized by the Yachi district of Kawaba Village. The stairs leading from the torii gate up to the summit of Mt. Atago are gently illuminated by candlelight. Depending on the year, visitors who pay their respects at the shrine can draw a handmade lottery ticket prepared by local residents, making it a warm, community-crafted festival. You can enjoy a magical evening on Mt. Atago under the enchanting lights.
