The traditional "2026 Meiwa Festival" will be held in Meiwa Town, Gunma Prefecture. The venue is Meiwa Town Furusato no Hiroba. Packed with stage events, folk dances, an exciting raffle, and a finale fireworks display, the festival is expected to draw many visitors. This year's stage entertainment includes a "Fun Show" by comedians Moody Katsuyama and Desuyo. In addition, a colorful variety of stage performances will take place, including dance performances, folk dances, Japanese taiko drumming, and Yosakoi dancing. The traditional grand raffle is scheduled for 19:00, followed by the fireworks launch at 20:00. The fireworks can be viewed around the launch site; sparkling right overhead, they allow you not only to see the beauty of the fireworks, but also to feel the air vibrations along with the powerful sound of the bursts. Food and merchandise stalls will also line the venue, offering content enjoyable for everyone from children to adults. In the event of stormy weather, the event will be canceled and only the fireworks will be postponed to Saturday, September 19, from 19:30 to 20:00.
