About this event
Organized mainly by the Gyoda City Cultural Organizations Federation, Gyoda City, the Gyoda City Board of Education, and the Gyoda City Industry, Culture and Sports Ikii-ki Foundation to contribute to the cultural development of Gyoda City, the '78th Gyoda City Cultural Festival' showcases the results of daily activities from its 15 affiliated groups. The exhibition division features a bonsai exhibition, a painting/calligraphy/photography/crafts exhibition, and a chrysanthemum exhibition, each held over different periods. The competition and performance division offers diverse opportunities to experience culture through a Go tournament, a Shogi tournament, tea ceremonies, and stage performances. Admission is free, but participation fees apply for the Go tournament, Shogi tournament, and tea ceremony. With different venues set up for each category, this event allows visitors to directly experience the culture of Gyoda City.
