About this event
Kawasato Festival 2026 is an event where civic groups participate to create opportunities for learning about each other's activities and fostering exchanges, aimed at deepening connections among residents. As a citizen-led event, it aims to contribute to attractive community building utilizing local resources. On the day, a variety of activities are scheduled, including a road train, air pencil maze, mini steam locomotive (mini SL), mobile aquarium, Mölkky experience, local food/game stalls, stage performances, and a flea market. In addition, there will be vehicle exhibitions featuring police cars, police motorcycles, pumper trucks, and flower buses, as well as a disaster prevention awareness corner with an earthquake simulation vehicle. Furthermore, the Water and Sewage Fair and Fire & Emergency Fair (including rescue drills by a disaster prevention helicopter) will be held concurrently, offering content for the entire community to enjoy.
