About this event
"Tori no Ichi," held in Konosu City, Saitama Prefecture, is an annual year-end festival held at Ko Shrine on December 4 every year. Various large and small bamboo rakes (kumade) are sold, and energetic chants and spirited ritual clapping (tejime) echo throughout the grounds. Various events are also held within the shrine grounds, bustling with people praying for business prosperity and happiness. Since the Ko Shrine parking lot cannot be used, please use the Konosu Station East Exit No. 1 and No. 2 Parking Lots (inside Elumi Konosu). It is an 8-minute walk from the East Exit of Konosu Station on the JR Takasaki Line.
