About this event

This is an event held at the Koshigaya City Science and Technology Experience Center to experience the wonders of science. In the first half, titled 'Examining Familiar Objects with an X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer,' components of various everyday objects will be analyzed using an X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. In the second half, titled 'Liquid Nitrogen at -196°C: The Cryogenic World and Superconducting Maglev,' participants will experience a world of minus 196°C and learn about the principles of superconducting maglev. Anyone can participate, and participation is free. You can enjoy it even more if you bring familiar items (around 3 cm in diameter) that you want to analyze. This event will be an excellent opportunity to deepen your interest in science and understand the scientific principles behind everyday phenomena.
