Itsuki Natsui Haiku Live Gathering

A live haiku gathering in Soka City featuring haiku master Itsuki Natsui, well known from "MBS/TBS Pre-Bat!!". It is a participatory event that anyone from haiku beginners to experienced poets can enjoy. While communicating with the audience, Ms. Natsui shares how to enjoy haiku with a clear and lighthearted talk. Even if you think "I have no talent for haiku..." or "Haiku seems difficult...", listening to Ms. Natsui will turn you into a haiku poet in no time. According to her, if beginners master just one haiku-making technique called "toriawase" (combination), they can compose a haiku in 5 minutes. Composed haiku will be checked on the spot by Ms. Natsui, and great poems will be revealed to the venue. There is also an interactive segment where visitors freely share their impressions, and the day's Grand Prix is chosen at the end of the event. It is an unmissable event with the potential for your work to become the Grand Prix winner.
