About this event
As part of "Nenrinpic Sai-no-Kuni Saitama 2026," this marathon exchange event is held in Toda City, Saitama Prefecture. Athletes aged 60 and older selected from across Japan will compete over 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km courses set within Saiko Doman Green Park and the Saiko Lake perimeter road. On race day, various hospitality programs will welcome athletes and spectators, including runner care (massages) provided by student volunteers, a motorboat VR experience, servings of tonjiru (pork and vegetable miso soup) provided by local merchant associations, and distributions of regional specialty gifts. This festival of sports, culture, and arts for seniors aims to promote health, active living, and social participation.
