Organized by the Kitahara Neighborhood Association of Niiza City, Saitama Prefecture, the "Summer Kitahara Festival" is the largest handmade community event created unitedly by neighborhood association members under the theme of "Creating Hometown." Mock shop stalls will sell yakisoba, drinks, and toys, and a variety of entertainment will take place, including a children's mikoshi (portable shrine) parade, ring dances, drum performances, and live music. Aiming to deepen interactions and foster solidarity among local residents, this festival charms visitors with a warm atmosphere built together by all participants. Hosted at Ishigami Elementary School, visitors can enjoy food stalls, the children's mikoshi, taiko drumming, monkey performances (sarumawashi), and more.
