Held in Fujimi City, Saitama Prefecture, the '28th Katsuse de Ennichi' is an event aimed at creating a hometown feel for local children and fostering resident interaction. Under the theme of 'Gathering Smiles', the opening ceremony starts at 10:15 AM, followed by various events from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. In the play area, you can enjoy PET bottle bowling, traditional games (hopscotch, ring toss, cat's cradle, beanbag juggling, paper cup kendama, etc.), yo-yo balloon fishing, and board games. At the food stalls, yakisoba, cotton candy, frankfurters, pudding, dango dumplings, handmade small items, and more will be sold. In the club activity presentations by Katsuse Junior High School, the science club's science play (until 12:00 PM), the Go and Shogi club matches, and the art club's painting exhibitions will take place. At the Fujimino Branch Library, storytelling sessions (11:00 AM to 11:30 AM), paper lantern making (11:00 AM to 12:00 PM), and an elementary school Bibliobattle (1:00 PM to 2:00 PM) will be held. In addition, there will be the Katsuse Junior High School PTA Chorus (1:50 PM to 2:00 PM), Tsurunoko-kai Japanese dance (2:00 PM to 2:20 PM), and a Fuwappi photo corner (11:00 AM to 3:00 PM). A photo exhibition of smiles will also be held at the venue, displaying photos collected in advance. The event will proceed rain or shine, but may be canceled in severe weather such as typhoons. Since parking and bicycle parking are limited, the use of public transportation is recommended.
