Misato Wadaiko Festival 2026 "Kyoen"

The "Misato Wadaiko Festival 2026 Kyoen" will be held in the Main Hall of the Misato City Cultural Hall in Saitama Prefecture. Under the theme of "A hometown feast found nowhere else," this event aims to have the powerful sounds of Japanese taiko drums resonate across the land of Misato. In addition to ultra-luxurious guest appearances by "Wadaiko Group Sai" and "Tokyo Girls Traditional Instruments Unit Kochou," skilled wadaiko ensembles from across the Kanto region will gather. The opening act features Misatoon (a volunteer team of Misato City wadaiko organizations), followed by passionate performances from a diverse lineup including Wadaiko Toyoya, Kanto Yamato Daiko, Nisshokai, and Yachiyo High School "Kogumi." Furthermore, a wadaiko trial workshop taught by professionals (including a performance on the big stage!) will be held, allowing even beginners to participate with ease. On the day of the event, food trucks offering Misato City gourmet food are scheduled to open, making it a day to enjoy not only music but also food.
