41st Tsurugashima Industry Festival

About this event

This is the largest event in Tsurugashima City, held to promote Tsurugashima's industries. Centered around local commercial and industrial businesses and citizen groups, a wide variety of booths will be set up, including food and beverage sales, exhibition and direct sales, and hands-on experience corners. Stage events will feature brass band performances by local junior high school bands, kids' dance, and taiko drumming performances. In particular, the "Shiny Bald Head Sumo," where participants attach suction cups to their smooth heads and pull against each other, is an annual popular event that generates immense excitement. In addition, sales of specialties from domestic exchange municipalities will be held, providing an opportunity to revitalize the local economy and deepen citizen exchanges.
