About this event
The '8th Tsurugashima 100KM Walk' will be held as a Japan Walking Association (JVA) certified competition. It is an event that serves as a personal 'challenge of the mind' by walking an extraordinary 100 km on one's own feet. Participants take on the walking distance away from convenient daily routines with cars and trains. The 100KM course departs from Tsurugashima City over 2 days, passing through Sakado City, Kawajima Town, Kawagoe City, Hidaka City, Moroyama Town, Ogose Town, and Hatoyama Town. Additionally, a 60KM course (1.5 days) and a 40KM course (1 day) are available, allowing participants to choose according to their physical fitness and goals. A portion of the participation fees is planned to be entrusted to the Saitama Shimbun Social Welfare Corporation. It will be an opportunity to discover a new self during the autumn sports season.
