Kinchakuda Manjushage Park Light-Up 2026

About this event

At Kinchakuda Manjushage Park in Hidaka City, a light-up event will be held where visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of manjushage (red spider lilies) at night. Aiming to create a new appeal for Kinchakuda, this event allows visitors to enjoy manjushage in full bloom in the fantastical night park. The illumination will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on September 24 (Thu), 25 (Fri), 28 (Mon), 29 (Tue), and 30 (Wed). The venue is the upstream area inside the park (early blooming area next to Parking Lot 1), and admission is free. However, a reservation is required to use the parking lot, costing 500 yen per vehicle (free for Hidaka City residents). The parking lot opens at 5:45 PM and closes at 8:15 PM. The light-up is divided into Part 1 from 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM and Part 2 from 7:10 PM to 8:00 PM. There are no food, drink, or souvenir stalls. Those who used the parking lot during the day and wish to continue using it during the light-up hours must exit once, make a reservation, and move to the light-up dedicated parking lot. Parking reservations must be made by September 15 (Tue), and applications will close once the planned capacity is reached.
