Fiscal Year 2026 Yoshikawa City Theater Project Special Performance

About this event

In Yoshikawa City, the municipal theater project brings together diverse citizen participants regardless of age, gender, nationality, or disability with professional directors and actors to create highly artistic theatrical performances for broad audiences to enjoy. Based on a script created by citizens in fiscal year 2025 (Reiwa 7), this performance is directed and produced by Suguru Yamamoto, a playwright, director, actor, and head of the theater company Hanchu-Yuei. Suguru Yamamoto constructs dramatic worlds that vividly reflect the rapidly changing ethics of modern information society, possessing a wide repertoire including the "Adults and Children Alike Series" enjoyed together with kids and workshop projects for youth. He is a talented artist who was also awarded the 66th Kishida Prize for Drama. The performance will be held in the Multi-purpose Hall at the Civic Exchange Center Oasis.
