About this event
"Miyoshi Noh" will be held in Miyoshi Town, Saitama Prefecture. In this performance, two major popular plays will be presented: the Kyogen play "Shimizu," filled with warm human touch and laughter, and the Noh play "Tsuchigumo," depicting a magnificent demon slaying. The Kyogen play "Shimizu" depicts a relatable blunder of an everyday person, drawing great laughter. Meanwhile, the Noh play "Tsuchigumo" features a dynamic decisive battle where thousands of spider threads scatter through the air. A lavish cast of performers, including Mansai Nomura, will perform these two premier Noh and Kyogen masterpieces. The venue is Coppice Miyoshi (Miyoshi Town Cultural Center). Tickets are sold at 3,800 yen for general admission, 3,000 yen for Miyoshi town residents, and 2,000 yen for those 25 and under, with combo tickets also available with the 23rd Chikamazawa Kuruma Ningyo Performance. Preschool children are not admitted.
