"Ogawa Washi Market" is an experiential event proposing a lifestyle with Japanese washi paper in everyday life. Washi-loving artisans gather in a 100-year-old stone storehouse, allowing visitors to experience the charm of washi paper through workshops and interact with creators. A wide variety of hands-on programs are prepared, including washi and kozo lace herbariums, washi herbarium ballpoint pens, dyed-paper daruma making, keychains using Ogawa washi, notebook cover making workshops using Ogawa washi, Ogawa washi "Little Bird Message Card Making," and traditional Japanese bookbinding notebook making. In addition, there will be sales of items made from handcrafted Ogawa washi and food stalls serving local gourmet items. The 100-year-old stone storehouse venue offers a special space to fully enjoy the event while feeling its history.
