About this event
The NPO Hatoyama Environment Forum will present a Satoyama Diorama Exhibition at the Hatoyama Culture Festival held from November 2 to November 3, 2026. This exhibition aims to convey the charm of the local nature and landscape through dioramas themed around the nature-rich satoyama (woodland and agricultural foothills) of Hatoyama. By viewing the dioramas that recreate the seasonal landscapes of satoyama and the living creatures that thrive there, visitors can rediscover the beauty of Hatoyama's satoyama. Conducted as part of community development initiatives, this event is expected to raise interest in satoyama conservation.
