Takasaka Kyuryo District Cultural Festival

About this event

This is a local cultural festival held at the Takasaka Kyuryo Civic Activity Center. It is an event where visitors can enjoy the results of regular activities and works created by local residents. In addition to exhibitions of photography, ceramics, gardening, paintings, and origami, achievements of activities for firefly conservation, nature school programs, and townscape preservation will also be introduced. There will also be sales of ceramics and plants, as well as booths offering Higashimatsuyama Pride certified products and designated hometown tax donation return gift items. On the first day, presentations of ocarina, ukulele, chorus, a lecture themed on Venus, and a Kyuryo taiko drum performance are scheduled. A tea ceremony experience can also be enjoyed. On the second day, hula dance, classical and modern Japanese dance, erhu, recorder, and band performances are scheduled. Because parking is limited, carpooling is recommended when visiting.
