About this event

Held as a commemorative project for the 900th anniversary of the founding of Chiba, "National Local Osusowake Marche in Chiba: Connecting Japan's Treasures with Local Mascot Characters Supported by TsukuTsuku!!!" is a new style of market event bringing together local mascot characters and regional products from across Japan. The venue will gather the charms of areas across the country from Hokkaido to Okinawa, featuring over 150 booths including local gourmet food, regional specialties, handmade goods, local brand items, and kitchen cars (food trucks). Visitors can also enjoy stage performances by more than 80 local mascots, greetings, and a stamp rally. As one of Japan's largest local mascot events enjoyable for children and adults all day long, it is the perfect event to create memories at the end of summer. In addition, an ennichi (fair) area offers shooting games, shaved ice, cotton candy, and other contents to fully enjoy a festival atmosphere.
