About this event
Organized by Narita International Airport to commemorate "Sky Day" (September 20) and "Sky Month," the "Sky Day Festival 2026" will be held on October 4, 2026 at NRT Central Square Popo Park (formerly the Central Plaza in front of Terminal 2). Stage events and hands-on booths are scheduled, with specific exhibitor details to be announced in the future. In the previous year (2025), 26 organizations set up booths, with participation from airlines and local eateries, alongside comedian stage acts, JAL cheerleader and ANA band performances, and narcotics detection dog demonstrations. In 2026, separate from the tug-of-war tournament, the main festival—open freely to anyone—is expected to be a vibrant occasion centered on stage events rather than just merchandise sales. This festival is held to foster understanding of and interest in aviation.
