The "23rd Nagareyama Industry Expo" is a hands-on event aimed at developing commercial and industrial businesses in Nagareyama City and revitalizing the local community. It will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Mori no Machi Plaza, Nagareyama-otakanomori Station. This event aims to showcase the appeal of local companies and the joy of work, connecting citizens and enterprises. Children can experience various occupations through "Job Experiences," and the "Naga-Gomi Quest" will also be held where they can learn about the environment and local beautification while having fun. Participants will receive "Nagareyamanyen," an original currency usable inside the venue, and by exchanging it for prizes at the "Nagareya Market," they can experience the complete cycle of working, earning compensation, and spending it. Furthermore, a wide variety of programs are prepared for both children and adults to enjoy while coming in contact with local industry, including craft workshops such as the "Nagareyaman Keychain Making Experience," company and division introduction booths highlighting local businesses, and stage performances enlivening the venue. Through this event, it is hoped to deepen understanding of local industry, promote interaction between companies and citizens, and lead to further regional revitalization of Nagareyama City.
