28th Kimitsu Citizen Fureai Festival: Iyasaka Kimitsu Dance

About this event

Held as part of Kimitsu City's largest event, the "28th Kimitsu Citizen Fureai Festival," the "Iyasaka Kimitsu Dance" is the main event where the entire venue comes together in excitement. This dance features choreography that is easy even for beginners to learn, and practice videos are also available. Participants need to pay a participation fee of 500 yen for adults and 100 yen for children, plus a sash fee (5,000 yen), though dance teams that already own sashes do not need to purchase them. Each dance team consists of 15 or more members, with a capacity of 2,800 participants (on a first-come, first-served basis). Participation applications are accepted until Friday, August 14, and will close once capacity is reached. The team leaders' meeting will be held on Friday, September 11, from 2:00 PM at the Kimitsu Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This festival provides a valuable opportunity for local residents to interact and enjoy together.
