About this event
The 'Rusutsu Industry Festival' will be held, bringing together agricultural and livestock specialty products from Rusutsu Village. Visitors can enjoy direct sales and barbecues of Rusutsu Black Wagyu beef, Rusutsu pork, freshly picked vegetables, and more. As pricing information from the previous year, a 200g Rusutsu A5-rank Black Wagyu sirloin steak was 3,000 yen, and 220g of seasoned galbi was 2,300 yen. In addition, Rusutsu lamb, vegetables and flowers grown in practical training at Rusutsu High School, and seafood specialties from Shimamaki Village will also be sold. The food menu includes french fries, boiled corn, shaved ice, imomochi (potato cakes), snack-scooping games, and handmade soba, along with free tastings of beer, soft drinks, and milk. As an event, an all-you-can-stuff vegetable challenge will be held: the 1st session from 10:00 is free and limited to toddlers through 3rd-grade elementary school students; the 2nd and 3rd sessions from 11:00 and 12:30 have no age limit and cost 500 yen per bag. As a pre-autumn gourmet event, it will be a day to fully enjoy the blessings of Rusutsu Village.
