Hokkaido Outdoor Festival 2026 in Rusutsu Rogaining

This is a rogaining competition held as part of the "Hokkaido Outdoor Festival," a popular event where participants can experience the full charm of the outdoors set against Hokkaido's magnificent nature. In the 2026 edition, rogaining will be held on Saturday, September 26. This event is a team sport where participants hold a map and compass to visit as many checkpoints as possible within the time limit and earn points. It is a competition requiring both map-reading skills and running ability, featuring a "6-Hour Division" and a "3-Hour Division" for teams of 2 to 5 people, as well as a "Solo Division" (competition time: 3 hours) for individual participants. It is also a participating event in the JOA "Navigation Games 2026" and is eligible for series points. While feeling the arrival of autumn in Hokkaido, participants can enjoy outdoor activities in a beautiful location overlooking Mount Yotei.
