About this event
The 43rd "Inzai New Town Autumn Festival" will be held on September 20, 2026, at Tatarada Park in Inzai City, Chiba Prefecture. Since its first event in 1984, this festival has fostered community bonds, starting along with the move-in to Chiba New Town. Childhood memories of hearing festival sounds and feeling excitement become cherished "hometown memories" as adults. This festival has continued for 43 years out of a desire for today's children to experience that excitement, and for children who have moved to this town to think, "local festivals are wonderful." To sustain the festival, fundraising support is being collected, which will be used for temporary toilets, rest spaces, nighttime lighting equipment, stage setup, and sound/lighting systems. This helps create an environment where visitors can enjoy the festival more comfortably and safely. Children who once ran toward the sound of the festival now stand on the side protecting it. Recalling past memories from the smell of food and smiling with strangers—Chiba New Town has had such a place for 43 years where childhood excitement returns. For the day when today's children grow up and can say, "I really loved that festival," this festival continues.
