Let's Learn Together: Disaster Preparedness Camp

About this event

This is a 2-day, 1-night hands-on disaster preparedness event where participants acquire skills to protect themselves and their families alongside youth counselors. A practical program is prepared, including talks on emergency medical care by DMAT doctors, VR experiences, talks on disaster prevention, and pack cooking experiences. This event is aimed at 4th-grade elementary school students through 3rd-grade junior high school students residing in the Minamiyama Elementary School and Ikenoue Elementary School districts, with a capacity of 20 participants. The participation fee is 1,500 yen. It is a valuable opportunity to enjoyably learn knowledge and skills useful during disasters.
