In Tomisato City, as part of the 'Wood Use Campaign (Kizukai Undo)' that nurtures forests through wood utilization, 'Mokuiku (Wood Education)' is promoted so people of all ages can touch wood and wooden products and deepen their understanding of wood culture. This event is an activity to promote wood education, where participants can learn the importance of protecting forests while experiencing the blessings of forests through all five senses. The event features a free-play area with 'Chiba Wood Toys' crafted from timber grown in Chiba Prefecture, allowing everyone from toddlers to adults to fully experience the warmth and charm of wood. In the LED Train Light Workshop, participants can craft a wooden train that also serves as an LED light, pen holder, and coin bank while learning about LEDs and energy conservation. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian. Take this opportunity to rediscover rich nature and the wonder of wood, raising awareness for forest conservation.
