About this event
The "1st Shisui Town New Harvest Rice Festival" is a regional revitalization event aimed at celebrating the harvest of new rice, creating opportunities for local businesses and visitors to interact, and widely promoting the charms of Shisui Town. At the venue, visitors can enjoy sales of the local brand rice "Shisui no Akari," collaborations between local eateries featuring new rice dishes, sales of local organic vegetables, an all-you-can-pack potato challenge, and a stamp rally planned for children. In addition, related to the event, dishes using the new rice "Shisui no Akari" will be served at Kinoene omoya for one month starting from early September 2026. This event aims to revitalize Shisui Town through rice.
