38th Nagara Agriculture, Forestry, Commerce and Industry Festival

About this event

The "Nagara Agriculture, Forestry, Commerce and Industry Festival" will be held with the purpose of selling and introducing agricultural, forestry products, and processed goods produced in Nagara Town to general residents. Local newly harvested rice, agricultural produce, and processed foods made with ingredients from the town will be lined up in the parking lot and multipurpose plaza of Nagara Town Public Hall. Various booths will be set up, including spot sales of fresh vegetables and processed items, food and drinks, clothing, car exhibitions/sales, craft experiences, and a fun raffle is also scheduled. A dinosaur race will be held at the venue, and on the stage in the gymnasium of Hiyoshi Elementary School, performances are scheduled by Nagara Kodomo-en, dance performances by Kocho-kai, Osakabe Hayashi, and traditional Okinawan performing arts. With limited quantities of miso soup and rice balls made with town vegetables and miso distributed for free, it is a day to experience the food and local activities unique to Nagara. It attracts many shoppers and festival participants from nearby areas.
