"Vietnam Banh Mi Festival 2026" will be held for 2 days on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Fan More Time Plaza in Shinjuku Central Park, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo. The event is themed around a short trip to experience Vietnamese food and culture. The venue will offer banh mi featuring various ingredients stuffed in special French bread, as well as Vietnamese coffee characterized by the richness and deep sweetness of dark roasted beans. "TOKYO BANH MI STAND," a banh mi specialty shop from Moto-Akasaka, Tokyo, will also have a stall selling an exclusive event-only menu. In addition to food, there are plenty of hands-on cultural activities, such as "Let's Play Da Cau!", a workshop to make lampshades using Vietnamese handmade paper, and a cyclo ride experience. There will also be Vietnamese goods for sale, stage talk shows, live music performances, and dancing. A stamp rally with prize drawings will also be held, enlivening the venue alongside dining and cultural experiences. The event runs from 11:00 to 20:00 on the first day, September 26, and from 10:00 to 18:00 on the 27th. Admission is free (food and drinks charged separately).
